Hai thar.
I made a short promo for the upcoming 3 hour long endurance race that will be held on 14/12, on Aston Historic with the GTR cars, and I thought that I'd publish the vid here too.
Are you making videos for your own viewing pleasure, or for others? If the first alternative is your choice, then I'd suggest keeping your videos private from now on.
It doesn't look good. It's disturbing.
That really doesn't look like 25 fps.
Very mature answer.
Say what?
Yea, to you. Not to your viewers. Keep your future vids private if you have the same attitude then as you have now.
I counted 6 scenes with the standard view as you call it. That is about 5 scenes too much imo.
Btw, I have no idea why you publish a video in a public forum only to show us how difficult it is for you to take good/bad critisicm. Why have a go at me for giving you the advice to use Shift+F? Why have a go at squid for his advices? Why talk about maturity when you're the one being the immature one?
The music is from the soundtrack from Command and Conquer - Red Alert 3. The song name would be "Soviet Combat 1"
Edit: As for the aspect ratio, I don't know why it looks like that. It's the same ratio I used on some of my other vids which looks better. I will look into it though, maybe I made a mistake somewhere.
I made this in a couple of hours, nothing fancy. Contains footage from the LFS LAN party we had in Sweden about a month ago. Bear in mind here, several of the drivers (one of them are Bob Smith, lol) in this movie were affected by.. that's right, alcohol. Don't drink and drive. x]
Mjeh.
A drifting vid now a days need to contain twins (and more) to be interesting for me. Watching one car drift around one track.. I guess it just won't do it for me. The camera work is good though, except a few times when it looks like the camera is going through the car. Other than that, I like it.
Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the music comes from the movie The Island, the song title would be "My name is Lincoln" by Steve Jablonsky.
Thanks for the tip, I will start that project right now actually. I have NO idea what so ever how to make spray coming from the tires, but I'll see what I can do. Again, thanks for the tip. I'll post the movie in a new thread when it's done. :]
I did the water effect with an effect called "NewBlue Film Damage", for Sony Vegas. I put all the values within that effect to "0" except the value for "Spots", which made it look like rain drops falling on the camera.
I'm still not satisfied with that effect though, it doesn't look all that real to me. But that was the best I could do for now, going to keep looking for other effects to mess around with.
Or to be more precise, a thunderstorm over South City. A 50 sec long vid, static camera over SO showing the storm rolling in. A simple vid, as I'm not familiar with making effects like these so it's basically an experiment.
Alot of work and for what? All this vid shows is how to ruin nice cars. Is the maker of these cars blind or what? And what's up with the bus? I mean, this isn't bus simulator.
